Job Title: Diagnostic Medical Sonographer

Job Summary:

The University Health Network (UHN) is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to join our team. As a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, you will be responsible for performing ultrasound imaging procedures, operating and maintaining equipment, and preparing reports to document test results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform ultrasound imaging procedures in a fast-paced environment
  • Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment to ensure optimal performance
  • Prepare written and electronic reports to document test results
  • Participate in teaching, educational, and quality improvement programs

Requirements:

  • Certification by Sonography Canada or equivalent
  • Current registration with the CMRITO and completion of a BCLS program
  • Ability to work accurately and safely in a high-volume setting
  • Strong inter-professional and collaborative approach to practice
