Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Team Lead Opportunity

Canada Diagnostic Centres (CDC) is a leading provider of diagnostic imaging services in Western Canada, with a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care. We are seeking a skilled and registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Team Lead to join our team at Glenmore Landing.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and mentoring the ultrasound team, overseeing workflow management, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals across departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor the ultrasound team to ensure smooth workflow and quality patient care.
  • Oversee workflow management, including scheduling, time-off requests, and equipment maintenance.
  • Support recruitment efforts and contribute to training initiatives for new team members.
  • Implement and oversee performance management strategies, including goal setting and recognition programs.
  • Ensure accurate and efficient execution of ultrasound procedures in alignment with established protocols and healthcare regulations.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to optimize quality and efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in diagnostic medical sonography or a related field.
  • Certification as Registered General Sonographer through Sonography Canada.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience as a diagnostic medical sonographer, proficient in diverse ultrasound procedures.
  • Prior leadership or supervisory experience with strong people management abilities.
