About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Distribution Supervisor to join our team at Sleep Country Canada/Dormez-vous. This role will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our distribution center, ensuring seamless delivery of products to customers across Canada.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide guidance and supervision to a team of Associates, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Develop and implement processes to improve efficiency and productivity within the distribution center.
  • Ensure all Associates receive comprehensive training and support to meet the demands of their roles.
  • Manage performance, staffing, and development of the assigned workforce.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business objectives and improve customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • A post-secondary degree or certificate in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is an asset.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a warehouse or supervisory role, preferably in a similar industry.
  • Strong inventory management and cycle count experience.
  • Familiarity with RF picking and WMS/ERP systems (e.g., Oracle).
  • Knowledge of provincial transportation rules and policies.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
