About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cook to join our team at MR MIKES Steakhouse Casual. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes to the highest standards of quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook complete meals and individual dishes to meet customer expectations
  • Train and supervise kitchen staff to ensure efficient and safe food preparation
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization
  • Order and manage inventory of food, supplies, and equipment
  • Develop and implement recipes and menu items to meet customer preferences
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient food service
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a kitchen environment
  • Excellent culinary skills and knowledge of food preparation and presentation
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
