We are seeking a Nurse Educator - Clinical Leadership to join our team of professionals who make a difference in the lives of others. This role is responsible for supporting the department's vision of 'Leading Learning, Partnering for Potential' and utilizing evidence-informed education theory to inform programming and practice standards.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall success of the Clinical Education program implementation and sustainability across VCH, reviewing and monitoring policies, procedures, and/or guidelines relating to education activities. They will also administer, promote, and oversee the ongoing development of Clinical Educators to promote quality learning environments across the organization to support the education needs of clinical staff.

This role requires a strong facilitation, conflict management, and resolution skills, including three years of supervisory leadership experience or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, a Master's Degree in either Nursing or Education preferred, and five years' recent, related progressive nursing education experience in a complex healthcare environment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the department's vision and utilizing evidence-informed education theory to inform programming and practice standards
  • Administering, promoting, and overseeing the ongoing development of Clinical Educators
  • Reviewing and monitoring policies, procedures, and/or guidelines relating to education activities
  • Coaching Clinical Educators to achieve both teaching and staff performance excellence

The estimated salary range for this position is CAD $64,565 - CAD $84,715 per year, based on a 37.5 hour workweek.
