Job Summary:As a Regional Clinical Educator at VCH, you'll play a key role in shaping the future of healthcare education.
You'll work closely with Managers, Clinical Educators, and regional education leads to ensure the success of educational program implementation and delivery across the organization.
Your expertise will be invaluable in promoting quality learning environments and supporting the education needs of clinical staff.
- Develop and implement education programs that meet the needs of clinical staff, incorporating evidence-informed education theory.
- Coach Clinical Educators to achieve both teaching and staff performance excellence.
- Partner with stakeholders to review and monitor policies, procedures, and standards related to educational activities.
- Be a positive, professional, and informed role model across the organization and within the industry.
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- A Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
- A Master's Degree in either Nursing or Education is preferred.
- Five years' recent, related progressive nursing education experience in a complex healthcare environment.
- Strong facilitation, conflict management, and resolution skills, including three years of supervisory leadership experience or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse or Registered Psychiatric Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
- Valid BC Driver's license may be required for local area travel.
Salary: CAD 52,000 - CAD 66,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
