Nurse Specialist in Perinatal Care

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Perinatal Services team at Richmond Hospital. As a Perinatal Nurse with Expertise in Labour and Delivery, you will work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to provide optimal care for women and babies. This role requires a strong understanding of perinatal nursing practices, as well as excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced perinatal environment
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
- Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of patients
- Document patient information accurately and efficiently
- Participate in educational programs and professional development opportunities
Requirements:
- Current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives
- Completion of a post-basic obstetrical/perinatal nursing certificate/diploma
- Two years of recent related experience in a Level 23 Maternity Unit
