Nursing Unit Assistant Job Summary

Vancouver Coastal Health is seeking a skilled Nursing Unit Assistant to join their team at Richmond Hospital. As a vital member of the healthcare team, this role provides exceptional client care and administrative support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform clerical and receptionist duties, including answering phone calls and responding to visitor inquiries.
  • Assist with client chart management, including assembling and maintaining charts.
  • Coordinate client appointments, tests, and transportation.
  • Transcribe and process physicians' orders.

Qualifications:

  • Grade 12 education and completion of a recognized Nursing Unit Clerk program.
  • One year of recent, related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
