Environmental Project Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled Environmental Project Coordinator to join our team at Englobe. As an Environmental Project Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating and completing assigned activities related to the implementation and management of environmental projects.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Applying and promoting Englobe's health and safety policies;
  • Coordinating and completing assigned activities with respect to the implementation and management of environmental projects;
  • Remaining current with the requirements of local, provincial and federal agencies for the assessment and management of contaminated sites;
  • Applying knowledge of engineering principles to the completion of complex and difficult projects;
  • Preparing field notes and analyzing and evaluating data;
  • Writing technical reports and proposals;
  • Collaborating with other environmental professionals and technical staff;
  • Developing and maintaining client relationships.

Your Profile:

  • University Degree or College Diploma in Environmental Engineering, Earth Sciences or an environmental related field;
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant environmental assessment/field experience;
  • Member of Professional Engineer and Geoscientists is an asset, but not mandatory;
  • Working knowledge of both provincial and federal environmental regulations;
  • Demonstrated oral and written communication skills;
  • Strong report writing skills is an asset;
  • Experience in supervising contractors on the worksite;
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to complete work within established timeframes;
  • Focused on the delivery of high quality services to the client;
  • Valid driver's license;
  • Willingness and ability to travel throughout Atlantic provinces on an occasional basis;
  • Demonstrated sensitivity and consideration for occupational health and safety.
