Job Title: Security Guard

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and professional Security Guard to join our team at Paladin Security. As a Security Guard, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our campus community.

Responsibilities:

* Greet and interact with staff, students, and visitors in a polite and professional manner
* Ensure all staff, visitors, and vendors are following the protocols for Queens University
* Provide assistance as necessary to staff and students
* Assist visitors as necessary with wayfinding
* Conduct proactive and consistent patrols of the campus
* Maintain a high level of professionalism in a fast-paced environment
* Develop strong interpersonal skills and a customer service orientation
* Remain calm and effectively perform in emergency situations
* Understand and follow specific instructions and procedures
* Report writing and note taking
* Surveillance monitoring

Requirements:

* Valid Security License for the province of Ontario
* Valid First Aid & CPR - Level C (from a WSIB-approved vendor)
* Proficient in English (both oral and written)
* Bilingualism in French and English is considered an asset
* 6+ months in customer service
* Previous security experience is preferred
* Commitment to the position for 6 months
