Internship Opportunity for Persons with Disabilities

The National Research Council Canada is offering an internship opportunity for individuals with disabilities to gain practical experience in a variety of fields, including research and development, engineering, and technology. As a person with a disability, you will have the opportunity to work in a supportive and collaborative environment, while having access to superior equipment, facilities, and expertise.

The internship is designed to provide individuals with disabilities with the opportunity to gain hands-on experience and develop their skills in a real-world setting. You will work on projects that are of value to Canada and have the opportunity to contribute to the development of new technologies and innovations.

To be eligible for this internship, you must be a person with a disability and have obtained a High School diploma (or grade 12 equivalent). While positions vary, extensive experience is not required.

As a participant in this internship program, you will have the opportunity to work with a team of experienced professionals and gain valuable skills and experience. You will also have access to a range of benefits, including a robust pension plan, comprehensive health and dental coverage, disability and life insurance, and office closure at the end of December.

Compensation

Individuals hired under this internship program will be compensated at the appropriate salary for the specific position's classification group and level. In addition, the incumbent who meets the language requirements of the specific position will receive the Bilingualism Bonus of $800 per year.
