About the Role:

This is a full-time position reporting to the Director of Sales, Government and Healthcare. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing, managing, and supporting Grainger's sales engagement strategy for all levels of government, within an assigned region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage government sales strategies to improve customer profitability and drive revenue growth.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to build customer programs, tools, and offerings that create unique value for government and healthcare customers.
  • Lead the negotiation of government contracts, standing offers, and supply arrangements.
  • Establish service and business plans with respect to tendered contracts, standing offers, and supply arrangements, and monitor, report on, and improve compliance, profitability, and customer adoption.
  • Assist the AGI management team in preparing and leading government presentations, overview materials, and other pertinent information for information sharing and decision-making.
  • Take an active role in developing a strong working relationship with the Government and Healthcare Team and centers of excellence support teams across the organization.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years sales and/or leadership experience with government and healthcare customers.
  • Strong project management, time-management, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and electronic communication skills.
  • Bilingualism (English/French) is required.
