Director of Government Affairs

Pharmascience is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Government Affairs to lead our government relations initiatives and develop strategies to influence public policy.
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the Canadian pharmaceutical industry and a proven track record of building relationships with government officials and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement government relations strategies to advance Pharmascience's interests
- Build and maintain relationships with government officials, advocacy organizations, and other key stakeholders
- Provide policy analysis and advice to senior management
- Represent Pharmascience at public hearings, meetings, and events
Requirements:
- University degree in political science, law, communications, economics, journalism, or marketing
- 7-10 years of experience in government affairs or public affairs within the pharmaceutical industry
- Experience with government agencies and inner workings at the senior level
- Bilingualism (English & French)
- Ability to register as a lobbyist
