Business Development Representative

Qualicare Homecare is seeking a highly motivated Business Development Representative to join our team in Newmarket. As a Business Development Representative, you will be responsible for generating sales referrals for home care solutions by networking with healthcare facilities, physicians, clinics, and eldercare facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sales and marketing plans with the administrator
  • Plan and create business development opportunities and execute community marketing initiatives
  • Attend community events and networking opportunities and conduct in-services and presentations
  • Follow the Qualicare sales system to promote Qualicare services
  • Conduct a minimum of 35 sales calls per week
  • Establish working rapport with healthcare professionals, networking groups, and potential referral sources within a designated territory
  • Identify new business opportunities and create and build proposals
  • Manage sales accounts and meet financial targets with respect to sales and business development opportunities
  • Participate in opportunities to increase social media activity and effectiveness
  • Track all key marketing and sales metrics in pursuit of client targets

Requirements:

  • Computer proficiency - Excel, Word, PowerPoint, CRM databases
  • Familiarity with social media platforms
  • Has a vehicle with a valid driver's license and car insurance
  • Strong time management and planning skills
  • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Detail oriented
  • Has a sales & marketing background in homecare
