Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Plastics Production Operator to join our team at EPL Plastics. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various plastic manufacturing equipment, ensuring high-quality products and efficient production processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain plastic manufacturing equipment, including mixing machines, calender machines, and extruding machines.
  • Weigh and mix plastic materials according to formulae, ensuring accurate and consistent results.
  • Monitor and inspect the quality of produced materials, identifying and addressing any defects or issues.
  • Unload and transport materials to the next stage of production, maintaining a safe and efficient workflow.
  • Set up and operate moulding machines to produce plastic products, following established procedures and guidelines.
  • Prepare and change moulds, adjusting equipment as needed for production line changes.
  • Organize and maintain inventory, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting of materials and supplies.
  • Perform trimming and sanding tasks on plastic or fiberglass parts, ensuring high-quality finishes.

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Ability to distinguish between colors, work in a fast-paced environment, and perform repetitive tasks.
  • Manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination, and ability to handle heavy loads.
  • Reliability, dependability, and teamwork skills.
