Sanitation Attendant

St. Boniface Hospital is seeking a detail-oriented Sanitation/Warewash Attendant to join our Food Services team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our patients, staff, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities- Operate pot washing machine and perform cleaning tasks to maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen environment
- Dispose of waste and recyclables in a responsible and efficient manner
- Assist with cleaning and sanitizing equipment, utensils, and work areas
- Work collaboratively with the Food Services team to ensure seamless kitchen operations
- Grade 10 education
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
- Manual skills and ability to lift heavy objects
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and withstand heat and steam
