Sanitation Attendant

At St. Boniface Hospital, we are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Sanitation/Warewash Attendant to join our Food Services team.
Job SummaryThe Sanitation/Warewash Attendant is responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment in the Main Kitchen by performing general cleaning tasks, operating the pot washing machine, and disposing of waste.
Key Responsibilities- Perform general cleaning tasks in the Main Kitchen, including sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces.
- Operate the pot washing machine to ensure cleanliness and efficiency.
- Dispose of waste and recyclables in a responsible and environmentally friendly manner.
- Work collaboratively with the Food Services team to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Grade 10 education.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
- Demonstrated good personal cleanliness and manual skills.
- Ability to move heavy objects, withstand heat and steam, and walk/stand throughout the shift.
