Job Summary

The Sanitation/Warewash Attendant is responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment in the Main Kitchen by performing general cleaning tasks, operating the pot washing machine, and disposing of waste.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform general cleaning tasks in the Main Kitchen, including sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces.
  • Operate the pot washing machine to ensure cleanliness and efficiency.
  • Dispose of waste and recyclables in a responsible and environmentally friendly manner.
  • Work collaboratively with the Food Services team to maintain a clean and safe environment.
Requirements
  • Grade 10 education.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
  • Demonstrated good personal cleanliness and manual skills.
  • Ability to move heavy objects, withstand heat and steam, and walk/stand throughout the shift.
