**Job Summary**
The Sanitation/Warewash Attendant is a vital member of the Food Services team at St. Boniface Hospital. Under the direction of the Food Services Supervisor or Area Manager, this role is responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment in the Main Kitchen.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Operate the pot washing machine to ensure cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen equipment and utensils.
- Perform a variety of cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces.
- Dispose of waste and recyclables in a responsible and environmentally friendly manner.
- Assist with other cleaning and maintenance tasks as assigned.
**Requirements**
- Grade 10 education or equivalent.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
- Good personal cleanliness and hygiene practices.
- Manual dexterity and ability to lift heavy objects.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and withstand heat and steam.
