We are seeking a skilled Human Resources Officer to join our team at Comfort Inn & Suites. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for identifying staffing requirements, collecting and screening applicants, and advising job applicants on employment requirements and terms and conditions of employment.
Key Responsibilities- Identify current and prospective staffing requirements and develop strategies to meet them.
- Collect and screen applicants, ensuring that all necessary documentation is complete and accurate.
- Advise job applicants on employment requirements, terms and conditions of employment, and company policies.
- Review candidate inventories and make recommendations for hiring.
- Coordinate interviews and notify applicants of results.
- Recruit graduates of colleges, universities, and other educational institutions.
- Determine eligibility for entitlements and arrange staff training.
- College/CEGEP degree.
- 1-2 years of experience in human resources or a related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Proficiency in MS Word.
This is a permanent, full-time position working 32 hours per week. The work language is English.
