Job Title: District Sales Executive

Job Summary:

The District Sales Executive is a key role at Expeditors, responsible for driving sales growth and revenue in their assigned territory. This position requires a strong understanding of the logistics industry, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage an assigned territory and develop a deep understanding of the local market and customer needs.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue growth and expand customer relationships.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including product, service, and knowledge management, to provide value-added solutions for customers.
  • Participate in training and development sessions to stay up-to-date on Expeditors' products and services.
  • Attend local trade groups and industry events to build relationships and stay informed about industry trends.
  • Travel as required to meet with customers and attend industry events.

Requirements:

  • Oral and written proficiency in English.
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work productively in a team environment and make quick decisions in response to changing conditions.
  • Previous sales experience in the 3PL industry is an asset.
  • Sales experience in the oil and energy industry is also an asset.
