Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Plumbing Apprentice 4th Year to join our team at Johnson Controls.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaboration and Assistance
    • Work closely with journeyman plumbers to complete tasks efficiently.
    • Assist in prioritizing work assignments and meeting deadlines.
  • Maintenance and Repair
    • Braze/solder copper pipe as required.
    • Work with PVC pipe and maintain knowledge of relevant techniques.
  • Safety and Compliance
    • Familiarize yourself with Silent-Aire Limited Partnership safety program standards.
    • Ensure adherence to Alberta Occupational Health and Safety Act, Regulations, and Code.
Requirements
  • Certifications and Qualifications
    • Registered as an apprentice in Alberta and enrolled in a recognized trade school.
  • Communication and Teamwork
    • Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with colleagues.
  • Adaptability and Flexibility
    • Show willingness to work under pressure, adapt to changing situations, and meet expectations.
Working Conditions
  • Overtime and Availability
    • Be prepared to work 24/7, including overtime as required.
  • Physical Demands
    • Able to lift up to 50lb safely.
  • Travel and Safety
    • May be required to travel to off-site locations and adhere to safety protocols.
Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary range for this position is $55,000 - $70,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
