Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Master Plumber Trainee to join our team at Johnson Controls. As a Master Plumber Trainee, you will be responsible for assisting experienced plumbers in completing various plumbing tasks and projects.

About the Role

  • You will assist experienced plumbers in performing daily tasks such as maintenance, repairs, and installations of plumbing systems.
  • Assist in identifying and addressing potential issues with plumbing systems, and recommend solutions to prevent future problems.
  • Work closely with other tradespeople to ensure that all work is completed safely and efficiently.
  • Perform routine electrical maintenance operations and maintain accurate records of work performed.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety policies and procedures at all times.

Requirements

  • Registered as an apprentice in Alberta and enrolled in a recognized trade school.
  • Ability to work under the supervision of journeyman plumbers, as part of a team, and independently in a busy environment.
  • Experience with hand and power tools, including ability to braze/solder copper pipe and work with PVC pipe.
  • Strong attention to detail, with ability to identify and address potential issues with plumbing systems.
  • Excellent communication skills, with ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.

Working Conditions

  • 24/7 availability may be required.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50lb.
  • Travel to off-site locations may be required.
  • Overtime as required.
