**Job Summary**

We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Operator to join our team at Johnson Controls. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for fabricating and assembling piece parts into final products.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Fabricate and assemble piece parts according to schematic specifications under the supervision of a Team Lead or Senior Production Manager.
  • Read and interpret blueprints to program machining equipment and produce required parts.
  • Operate metal working machinery, including brakes, shears, saws, punches, and other equipment as needed.
  • Maintain equipment in good working order and notify supervisors of any malfunctions.
  • Assist tradespeople and supervisors with project-related tasks in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Stay up-to-date with new projects and equipment, and request training as necessary.
  • Keep department organized and clean, and notify supervisors of any safety concerns or hazards.
  • May operate forklifts or overhead cranes if trained and authorized.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent education.
  • Experience with manufacturing processes, including raw material handling and finishing product assembly.
  • Familiarity with metal working machines and equipment.

Working Conditions:

  • Commercial/Industrial environment with manual dexterity requirements.
  • Prolonged standing and overtime may be necessary.

Estimated Salary Range: $45,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience and location. This estimate is based on industry standards for manufacturing operators with similar skills and qualifications.
