About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Security Officer/Supervisor to join our team at Gateway Casinos & Entertainment Limited. As a Security Supervisor, you will play a critical role in maintaining the security and safety of our staff, property, company assets, and valued guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Access Control: Ensure secure access to facilities and sensitive areas.
  • Visitor Escorting: Escort visitors and employees as required, promoting a safe and welcoming environment.
  • Departmental Support: Assist various departments with tasks, fostering collaboration and efficiency.
  • Alarm Monitoring: Continuously monitor alarm panels and control keys, swiftly responding to potential threats.
  • Reporting and Investigations: Write comprehensive reports and maintain a daily log, while conducting thorough investigations as needed.
  • First Aid and Emergency Response: Provide first aid and respond to emergencies, ensuring prompt assistance.

Requirements:

  • Previous Security Experience: Possess previous security experience and relevant training, which is highly valued by our organization.
  • Gaming Security Training: Complete Gaming Security Officer (GSO) training/exam prior to start or obtain a valid BC Security License and complete GSO training/exam within 90 days of commencement.
