Job Title: Sessional Instructional Assistant: Technology Strategy
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly qualified Sessional Instructional Assistant to support the Technology Strategy course, IMI303H, at the University of Toronto. The successful candidate will assist in grading, meet with students, invigilate exams, and update course materials.
Key Responsibilities:
- Grading quizzes, tests, assignments, and exams
- Meet with or respond to students' inquiries during office hours
- Invigilate quizzes, tests, and exams
- Update material and grades on Quercus courseware
- Attend weekly lecture and/or review lecture material
- Other duties as required
Requirements:
- Preferably a PhD or Masters student with a background in Strategic Management and some knowledge of Economics
- Ideal candidate will have completed MGT1301, IMI303, MGT437, MGM400, MGT492, ECO 380, RSM392, BTC2020 or equivalent courses
Working Conditions:
The successful candidate will work on a part-time basis, approximately 40 hours per term, and will be paid $52.26 per hour plus vacation pay.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced to the rank of Sessional Lecturer II or Sessional Lecturer III in accordance with Article 14:12 of the CUPE 3902 Unit 3 collective agreement
