Job Summary

The Q2 Contract Specialist plays a critical role in the company's contract operations team, providing administrative and support functions to ensure the smooth execution of contracts and agreements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Interact with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and customer success, to ensure seamless contract execution.
  • Enter, maintain, and ensure the integrity of contract data within Salesforce and other tracking databases.
  • Create, maintain, and update contract templates and checklists to reflect new pricing, products, and services offerings.
  • Draft sales orders, amendments, and statements of work, and review sales order forms for accuracy.
  • Ensure contracts and proposals are thoroughly reviewed for pricing approvals and accounting issues prior to finalization.
  • Conduct proposal preparation and respond to interdepartmental and intradepartmental requests in a timely manner.
  • Train new hires on contract operations processes and assist with sales onboarding.
  • Develop and document contract processes and procedures, and communicate changes to relevant team members.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision, managing and documenting work assignments in Salesforce and addressing concerns and requests by deadlines.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5 years of related experience, or an advanced degree with 3+ years of experience, or equivalent related work experience.
  • Demonstrate ability to adapt to change and quickly learn and retain new processes and contract-related information.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and Salesforce is required.
