About the Role

This is a Level D/E position that will be offered with commitment to the role of Discipline Lead for a minimum of 3 years.

The successful candidate will inspire their team to develop innovative programs and research in pharmacy, providing academic leadership and fostering excellence in teaching, research, and engagement activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Liaise with stakeholders to develop and implement strategic plans for the Discipline of Pharmacy.
  • Provide academic leadership to staff, including curriculum development and delivery.
  • Establish partnerships with industry and profession to enhance research and learning opportunities.

In addition to the above responsibilities, applicants for the Level E position must have evidence of original/innovative research at the highest level, strong peer recognition at an international level, and a history of engagement and influence of learning and teaching agendas at a national and international level.

Requirements
  • A PhD in Pharmacy or other related health / medical disciplines.
  • Registration with AHPRA as a pharmacist in Australia (or demonstrated eligibility and willingness to achieve registration).
  • Demonstrated high-level experience in leading strategy and teams, across both curriculum development and research strategy.

We offer a competitive remuneration package, including a base salary range of $179K - $229K per annum, plus superannuation and leave loading. The location of the role is Kensington, Sydney.
