Salary Range: CAD 120,000 - 150,000 per annum, depending on experience.

 

Job Description:

We are seeking an accomplished Senior Quantum Scientist to contribute to the development of innovative quantum technologies. This role offers opportunities to collaborate with cross-functional teams, design research projects, and manage a small team of researchers.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and execute complex atomic molecular optical (AMO) physics experiments.
  • Lead a small research team and mentor junior researchers.
  • Analyze data and interpret results to inform engineering decisions and enhance laboratory capabilities.
  • Stay updated with the latest research in quantum science and technology.

 

Qualifications:

  • PhD in Physics, Engineering, or a related field with a minimum of 4 years of professional experience.
  • Proven track record in experimental quantum information science, or related areas, with particular focus on atomic molecular optical physics.

 

Requirements:

  • Strong attention to detail and authenticity in all laboratory tasks.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving mindset.
  • Ability to adapt to fast-moving R&D environment.
