Job Summary:


Q-Block Computing is seeking an experienced Senior Quantum Scientist to contribute to the development of cutting-edge quantum technologies in sensing, communication, and computation. This role offers an exciting opportunity to design research projects, manage a small team of researchers, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and execute complex atomic molecular optical (AMO) physics experiments.
  • Lead a small research team, and mentor junior researchers to enhance laboratory capabilities.
  • Analyze data and interpret results to inform engineering decisions.
  • Stay updated with the latest research in quantum science and technology.
  • Monthly progress reporting and follow best practices in research data management.

Qualifications:



  • PhD in Physics, Engineering, or a related field with a minimum of 4 years of professional experience.
  • Proven track record in experimental quantum information science, or related areas, with particular focus on atomic molecular optical physics.
