About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Surface Land Acquisition Specialist/Project Management Coordinator to join our team at Scott Land Ltd. As a key member of our Land team, you will be responsible for acquiring surface land rights and coordinating projects to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Acquire surface land rights through negotiation and coordination with landowners, regulatory officials, and government agencies.
  • Coordinate project activities to ensure compliance with Alberta regulations and company policies.
  • Communicate effectively with key stakeholders, including clients, landowners, and management.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with landowners, regulatory officials, and government agencies to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Assist in the development of project plans, budgets, and schedules.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and mitigating potential risks and issues.

Requirements:

  • Valid Land Agent and Driver's Licenses.
  • Active member of the International Right of Way Association (IRWA) is preferred but not essential.
  • Experience in surface land acquisition and project management, preferably in the energy or infrastructure sectors.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and customer service.
