About the Role:
As a Surface Land Coordinator at Scott Land Ltd, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth acquisition and management of surface land rights for our projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with landowners, stakeholders, and industry partners to secure surface land rights and permissions.
- Conduct thorough research and analysis of land ownership, zoning, and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
- Prepare and present reports, proposals, and other documentation to stakeholders, including landowners, government agencies, and company management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, engineers, and geologists, to ensure seamless project execution.
- Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and mitigating potential risks and issues.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in surface land management, preferably in Alberta.
- Strong knowledge of surface land procedures, relevant land legislation, and regulations.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office products, with a strong focus on Excel skills and ability to integrate new software into daily workflows.
