Land Acquisition Specialist

About the Role:
As a key member of the Scott Land Ltd team, the Surface Land Coordinator will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth acquisition and management of surface land rights for our projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with landowners, industry partners, and internal stakeholders to secure surface land rights and permissions.
- Develop and maintain relationships with landowners, ensuring open communication and mutual understanding of project requirements.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to assess land conditions and identify potential issues.
- Prepare and submit reports on land acquisition progress, highlighting any challenges or opportunities.
- Collaborate with the project team to integrate land management into project planning and execution.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in surface land management, preferably in Alberta.
- Strong knowledge of surface land procedures, relevant land legislation, and regulations.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office products, with a strong focus on Excel skills.
- Ability to integrate new software into daily workflows and adapt to changing project requirements.
