About the Role:
As a key member of the Scott Land Ltd team, the Surface Land Coordinator will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth acquisition and management of surface land rights for our projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with landowners, industry partners, and internal stakeholders to negotiate and secure surface land agreements.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key landowners and industry partners to ensure mutually beneficial agreements.
- Monitor and report on project progress, ensuring timely and cost-effective land acquisition and management.
- Stay up-to-date with relevant land legislation, regulations, and industry best practices to ensure compliance and optimal land management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate land management into project planning and execution.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in surface land management, preferably in Alberta.
- Strong knowledge of surface land procedures, relevant land legislation, and regulations.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office products, with a strong focus on Excel skills and ability to integrate new software into daily workflows.
