Industry Partnerships Coordinator

**Job Overview**
The University of British Columbia is seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as an Industry Partnerships Coordinator. This role will be responsible for assisting with the development and implementation of industry partnerships and co-op programs, as well as coordinating events and activities to promote these initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Research and identify potential industry partners and co-op employers to develop and maintain relationships.
- Collaborate with Co-op Advisors and other stakeholders to develop and implement co-op programs and industry partnerships.
- Coordinate events and activities to promote industry partnerships and co-op programs, including trade shows, receptions, and other networking events.
- Develop and maintain relationships with industry partners and co-op employers to ensure successful partnerships and co-op placements.
- Assist with the development and implementation of marketing materials and communications to promote industry partnerships and co-op programs.
- Provide administrative support to the Co-op Office, including maintaining records and databases, and preparing reports and other documents.
- Work closely with the Co-op Advisors and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
Requirements
- High school graduation, plus two-year post-secondary diploma, plus four years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with industry partners, co-op employers, and other stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of flexibility and adaptability.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other software applications, with the ability to learn new technologies and systems.
Preferred Qualifications
- Related co-op or marketing experience, with a strong understanding of industry partnerships and co-op programs.
- Experience working in a university or academic setting, with a strong understanding of co-op programs and industry partnerships.
- Business development or sales experience, with a strong understanding of marketing and promotion.
- Ability to effectively market and promote industry partnerships and co-op programs, with a strong understanding of branding and communications.
