Physiotherapy Resident Position

The Physiotherapy Resident is a key member of our rehabilitation team, responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients in a tertiary care setting. This role requires a strong foundation in physiotherapy principles and practices, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree or entry-level master's program in Physiotherapy from an accredited university, as well as membership with the Nova Scotia College of Physiotherapists. Computer skills, including statistics input, word processing, and Outlook, are also essential. Annual Cardio-pulmonary Resuscitation certification and WHMIS training are required.

About the OpportunityThis is a full-time long-assignment position, with 100% FTE and 75 hours biweekly. The successful candidate will work approximately 12 months, with shifts including days and some weekends. Travel to various sites may be required.
Compensation and IncentivesThe hourly rate for this position is $33.97. Successful candidates may be eligible for our benefits package, which includes health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage, as well as a defined benefit pension plan.
