Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Dental Lab Assistant to join our team at JAIJIA DENTAL LAB. As a key member of our dental laboratory, you will play a crucial role in creating high-quality dental restorations.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in dental laboratory procedures, including plaster model preparation, casting, and finishing. You will work closely with our experienced technicians to ensure that every restoration meets our exceptional standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare plaster models and moulds for dentures and bridges
  • Cast gold or metal alloys for denture bases and frameworks
  • Mould wax over dentures set-up and finish metal frameworks
  • Prepare wax bite-blocks and impression trays
  • Pack plastic material in moulds to form full or partial dentures
  • Make orthodontic bands from metal and alloys
  • Polish and buff dentures to perfection
Requirements
  • Post-secondary education in a related field (e.g., dental technology)
  • 1-2 years of experience in a dental laboratory setting
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately
  • Combination of sitting, standing, and walking throughout the day
  • Hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
Working Conditions

This is a on-site position, requiring regular attendance at our commercial dental laboratory. The ideal candidate will be reliable, dependable, and able to maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive patient information.

Compensation and Benefits

Our competitive salary range for this position is $45,000 - $55,000 per year, commensurate with experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
