Job Description:

beBee Professionals is seeking a Compliance Policy Specialist to support our team in Edmonton, AB. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring compliance policies and procedures to ensure the organization's adherence to applicable laws and regulations.

The Compliance Policy Specialist will have a strong understanding of the legal and regulatory environment and will be able to identify and analyze potential compliance risks. This role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement compliance policies and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance
  • Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential compliance risks
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
  • Provide training and support to employees on compliance policies and procedures
  • Monitor and report on compliance metrics and trends

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • At least 3 years of experience in a compliance-related role
  • Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
