Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Regional Business Development Manager to lead our Orthopaedics team in Western Canada. This role is responsible for driving sales growth, developing and executing strategic plans, and building strong relationships with key stakeholders.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will have 5+ years of experience in the orthopaedic medical devices industry, with a proven track record of consistently achieving and exceeding sales targets. They will be a strong communicator, able to build and maintain professional relationships, and have excellent leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive regional sales growth and strategy through collaboration with the Director of Sales and Orthopaedic marketing team.
  • Develop and execute annual territory sales and strategic plans to achieve business objectives.
  • Build and support a high-performing sales team, including recruitment, selection, development, and coaching.
  • Provide guidance on navigating the hospital and OR environment, procurement landscape, and account management.
  • Cultivate and maintain key SSO, GPO, surgeon KOL, and distributor relationships to maximize revenue.
Requirements
  • 5+ years minimum orthopaedic medical devices industry sales and/or marketing experience.
  • Proven track record in consistently achieving and exceeding sales targets year over year.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain professional internal and external relationships that reflect the company core values.
  • Experience in managing and motivating a sales team.
  • High proficiency in MS Office suite of products, including Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong English communication, written and verbal.
Compensation Package

We offer an estimated salary of $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for professional growth and development.
