Job Title: Regional Business Manager, Orthopaedics

Reports To: Director of Sales, Orthopaedics

Job Summary: As a Regional Business Manager for Orthopaedics, you will lead and develop a team of sales professionals to drive growth, market share gain, and strategic customer relationship management.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and execute regional sales strategies aligned with national marketing plans.
  2. Lead a team of sales professionals to drive sales growth, market share gain, and customer engagement.
  3. Foster partnerships with the Director of Sales and the Orthopaedic marketing team to execute programs and augment customer relationships.
  4. Drive incremental win rate and market share growth within the region.
  5. Participate in Regional and National RFP response processes and drive pre and post RFP activity within the region.
  6. Collaborate with marketing to ensure region executes on marketing plans and provides regional market information for national strategies.
  7. Coach reports on the development and implementation of annual territory sales and strategic plans.
  8. Provide accurate regional forecasts and work with reports to improve accuracy.
  9. Develop and maintain key SSO and GPO relationships within the region.
  10. Develop and leverage strategic distributor relationships to maximize revenue.
  11. Develop and maintain relationships with regional surgeon KOLs.
  12. Support the regional sales team with key account management, proposal, and contract negotiations.

Requirements:

  1. 5+ years of orthopaedic medical devices industry sales and/or marketing experience.
  2. 2+ years of people management experience (preferred).
  3. Proven track record in consistently achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  4. Demonstrated ability to maintain professional internal and external relationships.
  5. Experience in managing and motivating a sales team.
  6. Strong selling skills in hospital and clinical environments.
  7. Highly motivated and driven to succeed, with a high level of urgency.
  8. High proficiency in MS Office suite of products, including Excel and PowerPoint.
  9. High proficiency in Virtual Platforms, including Webex, Zoom, and MS Teams.
  10. Strong English communication, written and verbal.
  11. Strong French communication, written and verbal is an asset (Quebec Only).
  12. Polished and professional, with a friendly and positive attitude.
  13. Willingness to travel outside of own territory to support sales teams.
