About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Regional Business Development Manager to join our team in South Central Ontario. This role is responsible for leading the growth and development of our product support program in the region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute annual business plans to achieve sales and margin growth in the region.
  • Educate and direct our Customer Support Advisors (CSAs) on promoting Brandt's product support initiatives within the region.
  • Manage CSA processes, including call reporting, CRM, and target setting.
  • Assist CSAs with customer calls and key accounts, providing exceptional service and building strong relationships.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for CSAs and measure progress on a monthly basis.
  • Analyze and implement effective coverage for the region, ensuring all areas are well-supported.
  • Engage directly with large accounts in the region to promote Brandt's comprehensive product support offering.
  • Provide market intelligence on industry trends, competitor activity, and customer needs.
  • Analyze sales and margin data to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Review reports to provide insights and feedback to guide the performance of CSAs and branches.
Requirements
  • Sales management experience, with a proven track record in driving sales processes from inception to close.
  • Strong industry expertise and knowledge in the heavy equipment business, particularly in repair and maintenance.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with customers, colleagues, and executive-level managers.
  • Ability to recruit, train, and motivate a team to pursue and grow the business.
  • Highly organized, with the ability to work effectively under time pressure and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to travel as needed, with a willingness to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong collaboration and relationship-building skills to drive results through motivating and influencing others.
