About the Role

The Assistant Store Manager position at JYSK Canada is a dynamic opportunity for a motivated and experienced retail professional to join our team. As a key member of the store management team, you will play a crucial role in driving sales growth, improving customer satisfaction, and fostering a positive work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with Sales and Merchandising Strategies: Collaborate with the store management team to develop and implement sales and merchandising plans that maximize sales and drive business growth.
  • Lead the Sales Team: Provide coaching, guidance, and support to sales team members to ensure they meet sales targets and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Manage Store Operations: Assist with the day-to-day operations of the store, including inventory management, visual merchandising, and loss prevention.
  • Develop and Implement Training Programs: Design and deliver training programs to ensure sales team members have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles.
  • Monitor and Analyze Sales Performance: Track and analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for growth, and make recommendations to the store management team.

Requirements
  • 2+ Years of Retail Management Experience: Proven experience in a retail management role, with a strong track record of driving sales growth and improving customer satisfaction.
  • Excellent Communication and Leadership Skills: Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members to achieve their best.
