Job Title: Retail Store Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at YOUR DOLLAR STORE WITH MORE. As a key member of our store leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our store, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assign sales workers to duties and ensure they have the necessary training and support to excel in their roles.
  • Hire and train new staff members, or arrange for their training, to ensure they meet our high standards.
  • Authorize payments by cheque and manage our store's finances effectively.
  • Order merchandise and manage our inventory levels to meet customer demand.
  • Establish work schedules and ensure our store is well-staffed at all times.
  • Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of our sales team, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to inform our store's strategy.
  • Resolve customer complaints and issues promptly and professionally.
  • Organize and maintain our store's inventory, ensuring it is accurate and up-to-date.
Requirements:
  • 3-4 years of experience in a retail management role.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
