Commercial Banking Relationship Specialist

The Client Relationship Manager (CRM) plays a crucial role in the Commercial Bank's success in Canada, ensuring the execution of individual goals and plans aligns with the team's business strategies and objectives.
Responsibilities include effective relationship management, sales planning, and execution of services for the existing customer base, as well as analysis and completion of credit applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Promote the development and profitable growth of the commercial banking portfolio in an assigned market area.
- Build and maintain a market profile in an assigned market area with both internal and external contacts.
- Manage an assigned credit portfolio for authorizations up to $5MM at an acceptable level of risk.
- Develop and implement a marketing strategy to maximize business development opportunities for sustainable growth;
- Develop sales plans for prospects and existing customers;
- Identify prospects/referrals from other internal/external networks;
- Analyze prospect lists and prioritize business development opportunities based on market data and customer analytics;
- Partner with internal resources for non-credit related products;
- Refer customers and prospects to the appropriate Commercial Banking segment and partners as appropriate.
- Plan and complete relationship activities that generate sales opportunities and/or provide value to clients;
- Build and maintain awareness of local market and general economic conditions.
- Champion a high-performance environment and contribute to an inclusive work environment.
