Chief Marketing Officer

We are seeking an experienced Chief Marketing Officer to join our team at HUB International. This is a full-time career opportunity based in our Winnipeg Head Office location.

About the Role:

The Chief Marketing Officer will be responsible for maximizing revenue growth through carrier relationships and commission agreements. This includes leading the creation, management, and enhancement of carrier relationships, managing extra compensation and volume incentives, and understanding local and regional customer segments and growth opportunities.

  • This role also focuses on due diligence and acquisition integration strategies, as well as identifying new product opportunities.

The Chief Marketing Officer will work closely with our internal large client renewal process to ensure proper coverage, pricing, and options are made available to our clients in conjunction with the client account team.

The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of progressive management responsibility in a key leadership role across lines of business in P&C as well as EB insurance within a brokerage environment.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A CAIB Designation and a License Level 3 P&C insurance agent in Manitoba with a broad knowledge of both personal, commercial, and employee benefit insurance matters.
  • Five to ten years of experience using broker management systems and tools, including complementary virtual client file management techniques.
  • A minimum BS/BA degree or one professional designation beyond CAIB.
  • A proven track record of pro-active and self-starter behavior, with a keen attention to detail and excellent communication skills in both written and verbal forms.

You will also need to thrive in a fast-paced, client-focused environment and demonstrate a strong ability to work well under pressure.
