About the Role

The Site AutoCAD Drafter performs 2D and 3D drawings of road conception, ensuring route optimization, quantity calculations, compliance calculations, and execution. This role requires a strong understanding of AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Google Earth, Bluebeam, and MS Office software.

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce 2D and 3D drawings of future solar and wind farm projects
  • Perform quantity calculations
  • Work closely with the Estimation team and Engineers assigned to the projects
  • Prepare sketches and notes, and perform electronic data collection
  • Process field data, coordinate field staff, and interface with CAD group
  • Work with the Superintendent and Foreperson to update any modifications related to road modeling and optimization
  • Conduct physical site surveys using a variety of equipment and tools as required
  • Operate GPS and robotic surveying devices and work with road building software as required
  • Perform the stacking of the elements of the projects as required
  • Survey the elements for the as-built as required
