About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Landscaping Supervisor to join our team at H J Landscaping Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of various landscaping projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Hiring and Supervision: Recruit, train, and supervise a team of 3-4 staff members to ensure the successful completion of projects.
  • Project Planning: Plan and estimate labor and materials required for each project, ensuring timely completion and budget adherence.
  • Construction Management: Organize and direct the construction of decks, decorative or retaining walls, and other landscaping features.
  • Material Procurement: Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed to support project requirements.
  • Problem-Solving: Resolve work-related problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Work Scheduling: Establish work schedules and procedures to ensure efficient project execution.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Work Conditions: Ability to work under pressure and maintain attention to detail.
  • Security and Safety: Basic security clearance.
Work Environment

This is a permanent position, working 40 hours per week. The language of work is English.
