About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Landscaping Supervisor to join our team at H J Landscaping Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of various landscaping projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Hire, Supervise, and Schedule Staff: Lead a team of 3-4 people and ensure they have the necessary skills and resources to complete projects efficiently.
  • Plan and Estimate Labour and Materials: Develop detailed plans and estimates for projects, taking into account labour costs, material requirements, and timelines.
  • Organize and Direct Construction: Oversee the construction of decks, decorative walls, and other landscape features, ensuring they meet our high standards.
  • Manage Landscape Construction Work: Plan, coordinate, and supervise the execution of landscape construction projects, from start to finish.
  • Requisition Materials and Equipment: Source and procure materials, equipment, and supplies necessary for projects, ensuring timely delivery and quality.
  • Resolve Work Problems and Provide Technical Advice: Troubleshoot issues, provide expert guidance, and recommend improvements to enhance productivity and product quality.
  • Establish Work Schedules and Procedures: Develop and implement efficient work schedules and procedures to ensure projects are completed on time and to budget.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work under pressure, with attention to detail, and in a fast-paced environment.
  • Security and Safety: Basic security clearance.
Working Conditions

This is a permanent position, working 40 hours per week. The language of work is English.
