Position Overview

H J Landscaping Ltd. is seeking a dedicated Landscaping Supervisor to oversee our landscape construction projects. This role is crucial in ensuring that our outdoor spaces are designed and executed to the highest standards.

Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 to 2 years in a supervisory role within the landscaping industry
Key Responsibilities
  • Recruit, manage, and schedule a team of 3-4 staff members
  • Plan and estimate labor requirements and material costs
  • Direct the construction of decks, decorative features, and retaining walls
  • Oversee and manage all aspects of landscape construction projects
  • Order necessary materials, equipment, and supplies
  • Address work-related issues, provide technical guidance, and suggest improvements for productivity and quality
  • Establish effective work schedules and procedures
Work Environment

The role requires the ability to work under pressure and maintain a keen attention to detail. A basic security clearance is also necessary for this position.
