About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Landscaping Supervisor to join our team at H J Landscaping Ltd. as a key member of our outdoor spaces management team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Hiring and Supervision: Lead and manage a team of 3-4 staff members, overseeing their performance, providing guidance, and ensuring they meet the company's standards.
  • Project Planning and Estimation: Plan and estimate labor and materials for various landscaping projects, ensuring timely completion and budget adherence.
  • Construction Management: Organize and direct the construction of decks, decorative or retaining walls, and other outdoor features, ensuring high-quality results.
  • Material Procurement: Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed to support project requirements.
  • Problem-Solving and Technical Advice: Resolve work-related problems, provide technical guidance, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Work Scheduling and Procedures: Establish and maintain work schedules and procedures to ensure efficient project execution.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work under pressure, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic.
  • Security and Safety: Basic security clearance.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
